On Saturday, May 31, 2025, join us to celebrate FOR FREE USRowing's National Learn t!o Row Day at Clam Island Rowing Club! The day's activities will include opportunities to:
Tour our Boatyard
Learn to properly use an erg (ergometer, indoor rowing machine)
View a rowing shell
Learn the parts of a boat and safety terminology
And... Experience rowing on Dyes Inlet! Assuming the weather cooperates, you may have the opportunity to get in a boat (along with a few experienced rowers and a coxswain). In addition to weather considerations, participation in this activity may be limited by the availability of sufficient equipment and personnel, so first come, first served.
No need to sign up, just come on down to our boatyard located at 3473 NW Byron St, Silverdale, WA 98383. It's Free! All ages are welcome; however, use of equipment and the on-water experience will be limited to those 12 years of age and older (and, yes, people row well into their 80s and beyond).

El sábado 31 de mayo de 2025, únete a nosotros para celebrar GRATIS el Día Nacional de Aprende a Remar de USRowing en el Club de Remo de Isla Clam (CIR). Las actividades del día incluirán oportunidades para:
Recorrer nuestro patio.
Aprender a usar correctamente un erg (ergómetro, máquina de remo interior)
Ver una bote de remo
Aprender las partes de un bote y terminología de seguridad
Y... ¡Experimentar el remo en Dyes Inlet! Si el clima lo permite, podrás tener la oportunidad de subir a un bote (junto con algunos remeros experimentados y un timonel). Además de las consideraciones climáticas, la participación en esta actividad puede estar limitada por la disponibilidad de equipo y personal suficiente, por lo que se atenderá por orden de llegada.
No es necesario inscribirse, simplemente ven a nuestro patio ubicado en 3473 NW Byron St, Silverdale, WA 98383. ¡Es Gratis! Todas las edades son bienvenidas; sin embargo, el uso del equipo y la experiencia en el agua estarán limitados a personas de 12 años o más (y sí, la gente rema hasta bien entrados los 80 años y más).

This clinic is for beginning scullers or sweep rowers who want to get some experience in small boats. Focus will be on technique, boatmanship, balance, and confidence on the water. $50 non-members, $40 members.

If you are a Junior new to rowing and want to try rowing out without committing to the entire season, sign up for a Learn To Row Clinic Indoor Winter Training.
Clam Island Rowing will host this clinic at our Kitsap Mall Erg Room. Cost is $110.
